Compact Sublimation Calender

The MC Series is a compact sublimation calender built for both piece and roll-to-roll transfer printing. It operates without an air compressor, making it a natural fit for boutique textile workshops and producers entering sublimation production for the first time. Thanks to its small footprint, the machine installs in tight workshop layouts without dedicating a wide area. It runs sportswear, scarves, t-shirts and promotional goods through the sublimation transfer process — and is equally suitable for other thermal transfer techniques. Running both piece and roll fabric on a single machine gives in-house producers the freedom to switch between product types without buying two separate machines.

Applications and Industries

The MC Series handles both piece and roll-to-roll polyester sublimation printing on a single machine. It suits small-scale production volumes and product types such as: • Sportswear: jerseys, thermal base layers, leggings, performance t-shirts • Fashion: scarves, bandanas, stoles, t-shirts, abaya panels • Promotional: flags, pennants, tote bags, tablecloths • Home textile: cushion faces, curtains, duvet covers • Advertising and trade show: banners, exhibition-stand fabric, backlit tension fabric The 1700 mm working width matches standard 150-160 cm rolls. For large-format products (wide banners, industrial curtain fabric) and high volumes (1,000+ m per day), the MM or MB Series is a better match.

Compact Capacity — 1700 mm Working Width, Ø200 mm Drum

The MC is built around a Ø200 mm oil-heated drum, the smallest diameter in the Mearic calender line. That diameter sets a short contact arc and a tight dwell window — enough for clean polyester transfer on lightweight jersey, flags and cut-piece apparel, but deliberately scaled for shops running 80–150 garments a day rather than continuous export loads. "Compact" here is quantitative: Ø200 mm against the 320 mm of the MM tier and the 400, 600 or 1000 mm drums of the MB industrial range. Nominal working width is 1700 mm. After felt overhang the usable print width lands near 1600 mm, which covers adult jerseys, boutique scarves, small flags and standard sublimation transfer paper rolls fed from the paper station. It is the width most first-step production buyers actually need — without paying for 1900 mm or 2200 mm chassis they will not fill. Total connected load is 12 kW at 18.5 A, of which 11 kW (17 A) is resistance heating. Supply runs 3PH + N + PE on a 5 × 2.5 mm² cable, so the MC fits a standard industrial tableau without bespoke switchgear. Production speed is AC-inverter controlled across the full sublimation range, with oil heating reaching 230 °C and a 240 °C over-temperature cut-off. Geometry is kept simple: single drum, single felt belt, AC-motor auto tension and auto centering — no pneumatic circuit, no compressor requirement. The Kumaş Açıcı (fabric spreader) and Havalı Şaft (air shaft) options are available at order stage for shops running knitted jersey or heavier roll formats. Packaged footprint is 2760 × 1500 × 1700 mm at 1200 kg gross; installed footprint is 2521 × 2190 × 1425 mm at 950 kg net — a machine that ships in a single 20-foot container slot and installs in a standard workshop bay.

Integrated Safety Systems

The electrical and mechanical design of the MC Series includes 11 independent layers of protection. Operator safety • Emergency stop button • Audible alarm and visual indicator (yellow lamp) Electrical protection • Phase protection — cuts on voltage fluctuation • Fuse protection — isolates on circuit fault • Earth-leakage protection — cuts on residual current • Contactor protection system Thermal protection • Automatic overheat cut-off at 240 °C • Heating-circuit protection Drum safety • Drum pressure-relief system — automatic release on abnormal pressure inside the drum Sensor reliability • Sensor-fault detection — operator alerted if main sensor fails • Sensor-cable protection — safe lockout on mechanical disconnection For warranty, installation and service details, contact our team.

Design Decisions Behind the MC Series

No air compressor required. Runs on a standard electrical connection; no pneumatic plumbing, separate compressor investment or infrastructure change needed. Fits the installed power of boutique workshops. 220V voltage option. In addition to the standard configuration, the machine can be delivered in a 220V build for countries with 220V infrastructure. Specified at order. Piece and roll-to-roll in one workflow. Jersey printing in the morning, fabric roll in the afternoon. Switch between product types without buying a second machine. Internationally readable model code. The MC-170W-200D format directly states working width and drum diameter — a foreign buyer grasps it instantly in the technical catalogue. Compact design. Fits into your existing workshop layout without requiring a large factory floor.
