Piece & Roll-to-Roll

Industrial Sublimation Calender

The MB Series is a sublimation calender family built for export-volume, multi-shift industrial textile operations. Three drum diameters (Ø400, Ø600, Ø1000 mm) and a wide range of working widths let you pick a configuration that matches your product mix and production volume. Both piece and roll fabric run on the same machine. Applications span wide-format curtain fabric, quilt panels, trade-show banners, automotive interior trim and bulk team-jersey production. For producers scaling up from MM or setting up digital print lines in an industrial facility, MB is the natural ramp. PLC control and a safety architecture built for 24-hour shift operation come standard.

Applications and Industries

The MB Series runs industrial-scale polyester sublimation transfer. Three drum diameters and wide working-width options cover high-volume and large-format production: • Serial sportswear production: football, basketball, volleyball, handball team jerseys; bulk fitness and performance apparel • High-volume home textile: large-format curtain fabric, duvet cover sets, quilt panels, towels, tablecloths, hospitality textile • Large-series fashion textile: scarves, abaya and kaftan printing, stoles and shawls in bulk • Advertising and trade show: exhibition-stand backdrops, backlit tension fabric, street banners, retail interior fabric • Technical textile: automotive interior upholstery, museum display panels, acoustic fabric, hospital and hotel decorative fabric • Promotional and corporate: large-format corporate flags, event textile, sports-club scarves and stoles in bulk • Contract production: back-end line for digital print agencies, print-on-demand platforms and e-commerce fashion brands Drum diameter is chosen by volume: Ø400 mm for mid-to-high volume, Ø600 mm as the sweet spot for most factories, Ø1000 mm for export plants running continuous 24-hour production.

Production Capacity Across 15 Configurations

Drum diameter chooses dwell time and contact arc. The Ø400 mm drum gives shorter contact with the fabric — suited to 1900 mm mid-volume jersey and scarf production where faster throughput outweighs extreme saturation. The Ø600 mm drum is the industrial sweet spot: longer dwell, firmer transfer pressure, and a wider contact arc that delivers uniform colour across full-width prints. The Ø1000 mm drum is reserved for 24-hour continuous export production — maximum dwell, deep polyester penetration, and the highest sustained throughput of any MB configuration. Working widths span 1900, 2200, 2600, 3300 and 4400 mm — fifteen base SKUs that match almost any production plan, from team-jersey shops to four-metre exhibition fabric. Production speed runs 0.6–10 m/min across the 1900–3300 mm range and 0.6–12 m/min on the 4400 mm width, configurable via the AC inverter drive. Power scales with working width and drum size: 33 kW at the MB-190W-400D entry, 62 kW at MB-330W-600D, and 82–90.5 kW at the MB-440W-1000D ceiling. The MB-440W-600D runs a dual resistance bank — 86 kW split across two heaters — to keep temperature recovery stable under wide-width continuous work. Table and bottom-belt geometry is standard across the 400/600 mm drum range: a 2200×1930 mm conveyor plus a 2025 mm wide bottom belt supports piece-fed workflows alongside the roll station. Felt sizes scale with drum diameter; MB-190W-1000D ships with a 5240×1940×8 mm felt sized for the deepest dwell. Installation footprint depends on configuration — an MB-190W-400D unit plates out at 2760×1500×1700 mm packed; the MB-440W-1000D extends to 4700×2260×1990 mm. Specify width, drum and rail options at quote stage — we configure to your factory layout.

Integrated Safety Systems

The industrial design of the MB Series includes 14 independent layers of protection. Operator safety • 4 emergency stop buttons + pull-rope emergency stop — strategically placed around the large machine • Audible alarm and visual indicator (yellow lamp) Electrical protection • Phase protection — cuts on voltage fluctuation • Fuse protection — isolates on circuit fault • Earth-leakage protection — cuts on residual current • Contactor protection system Thermal protection • Automatic overheat cut-off at 240 °C • Heating-circuit protection Drum safety • Drum pressure-relief system — automatic release on abnormal pressure inside the drum Pneumatic system safety • Air-loss protection — when the compressor fails or air supply stops, the machine auto-detects the lack of pneumatic pressure, drops speed to minimum, and runs the felt forward and backward in short intervals to prevent it from drifting sideways. The felt stays safe until air returns. PLC and sensor reliability • PLC safety monitoring — tracks electrical and mechanical faults centrally • Sensor-fault detection — backup circuit engages if main sensor fails • Sensor-cable protection — safe lockout on mechanical disconnection For warranty, installation and service details, contact our team.

Design Decisions Behind the MB Series

Three drum diameters, one series. Ø400, Ø600 and Ø1000 mm let you match production volume without over-buying capacity. You do not need to switch manufacturers to move between drum sizes. PLC touchscreen control + industrial recipe memory. Parameter profiles for different fabrics and products are stored in machine memory. Across multiple shifts the recipe stays consistent even when operators change; recurring jobs save setup time. Weekly scheduling + automatic cooldown — time saved. If work starts at 08:00, set the machine to warm up at 07:00 the night before — it is ready by 08:00. At end of shift, one touch puts the machine into automatic cooldown; it shuts down safely once under 90 °C. Automatic resume after power loss. Short interruptions preserve PLC settings; when power returns, the machine picks up where it left off — no separate UPS required. For long outages, a UPS input port is standard for those who want to connect an external UPS. 220V voltage option. In addition to the standard configuration, the machine can be delivered in a 220V build for countries with 220V infrastructure. Specified at order. Piece and roll-to-roll — two workflows, one machine. Print a wide curtain-fabric roll, then run jersey piece printing on the same machine. Industrial contract manufacturers gain flexibility without investing in two separate machines. Built for 24-hour shift production. Industrial PLC, durable pneumatic components and extended oil system are ready for continuous three-shift operation. Internationally readable model code. The MB-190W-400D / MB-330W-600D / MB-220W-1000D format directly states working width and drum diameter — a foreign buyer grasps it instantly in the technical catalogue.
